DUALITY BREWING
This microbrewery tenant improvement is located in the SE corner of Atomic Garage. The design intent here was for the brewery production to blend with the public space, giving customers a full preview of the brewery-making process. The upgraded garage doors replaced during the shell renovation foster seamless interior/exterior blending between the newly built wood deck and indoor seating area. The new southern-facing glass door lets even more natural light into the interior. The minimal interior design helps to emphasize the exposed existing bow trusses and concrete exterior walls. This bright, playful, carefully programmed space energizes the sleepy corner with increased activity. Quisa worked closely with the small business owners to incorporate their refurbished brewery equipment, design an economical yet practical new equipment loft to preserve ground floor space, and even assisted in designing an energy-efficient walk-in cooler.
