This project transformed a dimly lit German beer hall into a bright, modern space for the well-known Elephants Delicatessen. A new central island was designed to allow customers to navigate the space easily, and a new hanging soffit was installed to help break up the ceiling height. In addition to the new island soffit, shade sails were designed to help add more surface area for light to bounce off and add visual interest. Quisa worked closely with the shade sail designer to help with fabrication and installation by providing 3D renderings and detailed drawings. Quisa also produced solar shade studies to design the new exterior awnings to provide customers with the correct amount of shade.
